Controller Compatibility

The BitLink DC Dongle supports wireless controllers over BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) or wired over USB-C in multiple modes. BT Classic controllers are also supported with the use of an optional external Bluetooth USB dongle. When connecting your controller via USB, you can use the mode that works best for you.

USB controllers connect via the USB-C port on the dongle. BT connects wirelessly. Mode availability depends on what the controller supports — check your controller's manual for mode switching instructions.

* Bluetooth is only supported through an external Bluetooth USB dongle from the compatible list below.

** Some controllers come with a 2.4G wireless dongle that can be connected to the BitLink Dongle's USB-C port for wireless play.

It is highly recommended that you use an external powered hub when using a wired USB-C controller with a rechargeable battery, as the power supply from the BitLink Dongle is limited.

This list is not exhaustive. We are continuously testing and adding compatible controllers. If your controller is not listed, it may still work — give it a try!

Supported USB Dongles

External USB dongles can be plugged into the BitLink Dongle's USB-C port to extend wireless connectivity. This enables support for additional protocols beyond the built-in BLE radio.

USB dongles plug into the BitLink Dongle's USB-C port. You cannot use a wired USB controller and a USB dongle at the same time.
